Trainee Accountant – Corporate Finance

About the role

The Trainee Accountant (Associate) in Corporate Finance will work closely with experienced BVI and international teams to support cross‑border insolvency appointments, restructuring engagements, board appointments, distressed asset sales, fraud investigations and litigation support.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the administration of formal cross‑border insolvency and restructuring engagements.
• Support board of director appointments, distressed asset sales and complex financial investigations.
• Contribute to litigation support and other business advisory services.

Required profile

• Excellent academic results in finance, accounting, business or a related field (associate or bachelor degree).
• Relevant work experience in financial services, accounting or legal services preferred.
• Strong communication, attention to detail, analytical and organizational skills.
• Motivated, ambitious and able to take initiative.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
