Restaurant Manager

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and energetic Restaurant Manager to support the Food and Beverage Manager in overseeing the restaurant and room service operations on Scrub Island. The ideal candidate will combine a serious work ethic with a fun attitude to create a positive guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee dining area and supervise food and beverage service staff according to company policies.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and health regulations in restaurant and room service areas.
• Coach, provide feedback, and develop team members, fostering a positive team atmosphere.
• Manage staff records, operating costs, and assist in achieving financial goals for the F&B department.
• Coordinate with reception and reservations for table bookings and special guest requests.
• Gather guest feedback and implement service improvements.
• Ensure compliance with fire safety, health and safety, and equipment maintenance procedures.

Required profile

• High school diploma required; college degree preferred.
• Ability to communicate in a second language, preferably.
• Previous culinary or food service training and experience.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lb and remain stationary for extended periods.
• Strong guest relations and communication skills.
